Cabin Stay
The Cabin during my first stay

My Love for Iceland…
I discovered Iceland as a six year old child exploring my grandmother’s work room. In that magical room was the old manual Singer sewing machine she would use to make dresses for her daughters and grandchildren. There was also an old closet which i only saw opened a few times and every time i was amazed to peek into what seemed another world. Tucked in the corner of the small room was a small bookshelf overflowing with yellow bordered magazines full of amazing pictures and stories of places i had never before seen. One of these wonderful magazines opened itself up to me one afternoon as I explored its pages. Suddenly my world was filled with images of mountains and valleys stretching out over the horizon, with beautiful lights dancing in the sky, and with smiling people. It was Iceland. A part of the world I had never heard mentioned before, a part of the world that seemed unreachable at the time for me. However, I knew i would not live in that small Mexican town forever, I always knew I would travel and explore all I could, and when the time would come, Iceland would be waiting for me.
